Whistle Down The Wind

Hi, I’m an undergraduate student from Department of Astronomy, Nanjing University. Now I’m in the last year of my undergraduate life. I already decided stay at our department to continue my study and research, my tutor is Prof. Qiusheng Gu.

I was born in Tianjin, a metropolis in the north of China. My mom working as an engineer and my dad is the vice manager of a small joint venture while he’s also a photographer. This family background let me grow up in such a easy atmosphere and I can raise my own interest on anything. When I was 6 year old, the gift that my parents gave me for my birthday–a book about the star night and the universe made me really lost in the beauty of cosmos. Since then I spent a lot of times watch the sky at night and read all the books I can found about astronomy, when I was in the third year of my elementary school， I started the dream of become an astronomer and at that time, I’ve been told the department of astronomy in Nanjing University is the best in China. I was kind of boy didn’t like study, especially, hard-working study. But, bear my dream in mind, I finally got it. Life is wonder, and mine just began!

• Other than astronomy, I’m an Crazy Music Fans, Country Music is my favorite.
• Of course, amateur astronomical observation is also my love. Especially, the meteor shower.
• I’m also a little HiFi…..You know,just for fun.
• Affected by my dad, I’m interesting in photography since I was young, but I’m still poor in skill and lack of good camera…
• And many of others, maybe some of them I can’t say here…..Life is so colorful….
